Built for Guidewire PolicyCenter customers, the extension connects PolicyCenter and Deploy, Akur8’s modern external rating engine, cutting integration timelines from months to weeks. 

By delivering a metadata-driven mapping and transformation layer between PolicyCenter and Deploy’s rating API, the extension for Deploy reduces the custom integration effort required to connect PolicyCenter and Deploy’s rating API. Insurers using the extension can compress that integration phase into a matter of weeks while enabling real-time rating within native PolicyCenter quote workflows.

For actuarial and pricing teams, the extension enables greater control over the rating lifecycle. Once live, actuarial teams can update rating logic, push new rates, and launch revised products directly in Akur8 Deploy, without requiring IT tickets or PolicyCenter redeployment. This reduces reliance on policy administration system release cycles and helps insurers bring rate changes to market faster.
