About the reports

Celent is a research and advisory firm for financial services. Its 2026 reports, P&C Standalone Rating Systems: North America Edition and P&C Standalone Rating Systems: Global Edition, help insurers compare rating engines currently on the market. The North America Edition assesses 14 solutions; the Global edition assesses 18.

Celent scored each solution on two dimensions, advanced technology and breadth of functionality. These scores determine where each solution sits on Celent Technical Capability Matrix. Luminary, the matrix's highest category, recognizes solutions that excel in their capabilities and typically have a leading market presence.
