Michael Henk
Michael is a seasoned actuary with extensive experience in loss reserving analyses, including reserve variability analyses, across various lines of business. He is currently focused on driving the development, implementation, and support of Akur8’s industry-leading property and casualty loss analysis solutions, including Arius®, Triangles on Demand, and Arius Enterprise. These solutions are trusted by over 400 organizations worldwide, empowering actuarial, risk management, and insurance finance professionals. Michael’s deep technical expertise is instrumental in shaping the future of these solutions. A Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, he is a frequent speaker and active volunteer.

Kamela Taleb
Kamela Taleb joined Akur8 as an Actuarial Data Scientist in 2025. She partners with insurers to help them achieve their goals efficiently, leveraging Akur8’s transparent machine learning platform to enhance pricing performance and data-driven decision-making. Over the past eight years, Kamela has held actuarial and pricing roles across a wide range of business lines, including commercial, cyber, natural catastrophe, auto, and construction. At AXA, one of France’s leading insurers, she experienced firsthand Akur8’s strong added value. There, she contributed to developing a new auto pricing structure and strategy using advanced modeling techniques such as GLMs and GBMs, driving greater pricing sophistication and optimization.

Felix Go
Felix Go, FCAS, is an Actuarial Data Scientist at Akur8, where he works with clients to help them leverage models and build end-to-end pricing solutions to solve business problems. His background spans GBM-based pricing and telematics at Intact, and specialty lines pricing at Counterpart. He holds a Master's of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.

Crystal Garcia
Crystal brings 15 years of actuarial and data science expertise spanning Property & Casualty and Health insurance. With a BA in Mathematics from Johns Hopkins and a Master of Education from Harvard, she combines rigorous analytical thinking with a passion for translating complex concepts into real-world impact. Her work spans pricing, reserving, claim analytics, and valuations, making her a versatile voice across the insurance landscape. When she's not diving into data, you can find her with her dogs or strategizing over a good board game.
